Vietnam North-East Adventure Tour

On arrival at Noi Bai international airport, you are welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center. You are free at your own leisure or discover the city yourself.
Overnight in Hanoi.

After having breakfast in the hotel, we head to Lang Son. Upon arrival, we visit to Tam Thanh Cave before having lunch in local restaurant.
After having lunch, we continue driving to a small quiet town through beautiful area with forested mountains and peaceful tribal villages.
Arrival in That Khe in late afternoon. We will walk to Na Pang Village in Trang Dinh district of Lang Son, here we will have dinner and overnight with a Tay family on their traditional house on stilt.

Breakfast at the homestay. We will start our trek to Pac Khoang, a village of Dzao ethnic minority. Today we will trek along valleys with on small paths that only used by the locals to go to their farms and surrounding villages. We will cross some small streams and tackle some easy hill slopes. Picnic lunch on the way. We would reach Pac Khoang around 5pm and we will have dinner with a local family.

Breakfast and begin the trek around 8.30am.
This morning we trek mainly downhill to Dong Khe, where was the first major battle of the first Indochina war in 1950 between Viet Minh and the French. The war ended with Viet Minh victory, marked with the national hero Vo Nguyen Giap. The morning trek is on village road and jungle trails with nice view of rice and corn fields along valleys. We reach Dong Khe at noon.
After lunch, we continue trekking to Na Nieng Village which is home of Tay ethnic minority. The trek in the afternoon is a bit harder than in the morning since we have more uphill terrain to tackle. We reach Pac Khoang Village around 5pm and have dinner at a local house.

Today, we trek up and down on some forested limestone mountains to reach La village, a beautiful village of Tay ethnic minority located in the valley among the magnificent mountain ranges. We have some stops for refreshment in remote tribal village of Na Nieng village which is surrounded by the lush forest and wild life, and we encounter during the trek.

Breakfast in Cao Bang and take a transfer to Ba Be National Park, a popular Vietnam’s natural complex which consist of Ba Be Lake, the largest natural fresh water lake and the highest lake above sea level in Vietnam. Along the way, stop at Cho Ra Town, have lunch at a local restaurant before taking a relaxing boat trip on Nang river and enter the beautiful Ba Be Lake.
We will cruise through Puong Cave and completely passes through a mountain for 03 hours. A navigable river flows through the cave, making for an interesting boat trip. After the boat trip we reach Pac Ngoi, a village of Tay ethnic minority.

Breakfast at the homestay. We will have a short motorcycle ride to starting point where we begin a short walk through jungle. At some resting points we can have great view of Babe Lake. After 1hr trekking, we descend to the lake shore and cross a bridge to An Ma Island. Visit to the temple on the island before we start kayaking.
Leave the island, we paddle to Dau Dang waterfall. We will have a picnic lunch in a beautiful natural setting of the waterfall.
After lunch, we paddle back to Babe Lake. If weather permits we can swim in the emeraude cool water. Paddle back to Pac Ngoi village for another night at the homestay.
Dinner and overnight stay in Ba Be.
 

After breakfast, we take a short boat ride to the National Park dock where we get on van for the ride back to Hanoi. Lunch on the way. Back to Hanoi at around 5pm. Check into your hotel and free at your leisure.
